Robert McCartney born 1760...died 1798--no information about where he is from or a birth date ..died in Truro, Nova Scotia: m. Mary Moor born 1762 died 1847--her parents are a Hugh Moor (Jr) (born 1738 and died 1820) and married Janet Logan: his dad Hugh Moor married Jannett Morrison: Hugh was born in 1708 in Ireland and died 1820--

Robert McCartney Jr. born 1780 (only son of Robert McCartney and Mary Moor) m. Janet Moore born 1799--children William, Robert III(no information), Charles (no information other than possible 1827, Lydia Jane???1840

William Isaac McCartney born 1825 died 1917 in Ellsworth, Maine; m. Mary E. Woodbury born 1829.

William Woodbury McCartney born 1857 died 1947 in Ellsworth, Maine; m. Effie J. King born 1861 died 1925

Lewis William McCartney born 1886 died 1972; m. Grace Elizabeth Brothers born 1887 died 1973(this is my grandmother--they had 5 children of which my mother Barbara is the youngest)

Frank Woodbury McCartney born 1894 died 1964; m. Gladys Williams born 1911 died 1999 (these are Martha's parents)

Frank and Lewis are the sons of William and Effie---

We are hoping to fill in some of the blanks maybe on Robert, Robert III and Charles McCartney and back to the Moors.
