Someone has been spoofing email addresses from geomacc.com for the purpose of sending spam. If you have received such an email we appologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We have not been able to locate the server being used. So all we can do now is hope that this problem stops soon.
However, this situation can cause numerous problems, especially if our domain name is blocked by an Internet Service Provider (ISP). This means that any of our researchers who use that particular ISP will not receive emails we send to them. If this happens, we at geomacc.com will have no way of knowing about it.
If you send an email to us and do not get a response within two weeks, please, contact us again. Explain that you had contacted us before and that we have not responded. Tell us approximately when your original email was sent. Also, tell us the name of your ISP and any contact information you might have.
If we find that we did respond, it may, but does not necessarily, mean that your ISP has blacklisted our domain name. We will contact the ISP to determine if they have blocked us and how we can resolve the problem. We will also contact you via a different email source.
